In Final Fantasy XIV : Endwalker , the Shared destiny system incentivizes running the various lot encounters in every zone of the expansion . FATEs are timed combat encounters that randomly spawn in zones . Completing a FATE gives you experience , Bicolor Gemstones , and some Grand Company seal . They ’re great for even out up characters but also have another single-valued function .
By completing FATEs , you level up your shared out lot for that area . Each area has three Ranks of shared out FATE advance . As you get on through the Ranks , you ’ll unlock access to payoff , such as craft material , Riding Maps , and Minions and Glamour accessories at higher ranks .
