Must be the Chaos Theory taking effect …

The Life is Strange Remaster is here , and we ’re very excited about it . It ’s been seven years since it was originally release , and although it appear big , it has now had some next - gen melioration . However , it has n’t quite managed to scarper a glitchless acquittance .

We would just like to remark that the remaster looks beautiful , and the update to facial feature and lighting have been a great rise to the game . These glitches are just what we have noticed whilst re - play through the story .

Glitchy Edges

If you look tight at the correct - hand edge of the image above , you will see some red , which look like it could be code , and some blue bleeding in at the bottom where Max stand .

It is , in fact , just some color glitching that keep coming through . Although it is n’t constantly salient , color glitching does pop up now and then , depending on which aspect you are in . We also remark it when taking one of the pictures for our photograph guide , which you may see below .

Subtitles Not Loading in Episode 2: Out of Time

or else of subtitle in Episode 2 : Out of Time , it currently shows the file name for the voice - over time being played . Although this is obviously not mean to materialize , it is quite interesting to see what they name each audio file cabinet , but it does mean that players presently have to rely alone on hearing the lines .

Staggered Movements

The kindling improvements are a really squeamish hint to this upgraded version of the secret plan , but at sentence in certain cutscenes , it appears as though the biz is trying to file the update , flicking between a non-white edition and a light version .

This would be common on a PC that has n’t been upgraded and is not knock-down enough to be given the game , but it ’s strange for a next - gen console interlingual rendition .

Lighting

It is n’t often and seemed to occur more in scenes where it was dark inside a room with a light source slightly shining in . There was also some noted lighting blowout when first talking with Dana in her room .

It definitely is n’t a deal - ledgeman , but it is slightly noticeable if you have launch the previous rendering of the game .

Overlapping Music

At one point , after reloading a checkpoint in the junkyard , we noticed that the menu music at random commence meet over the top of the soundtrack for the cutscene . After pause and unpausing , it stopped and returned to normal , but it was a strange mish - mash for a second .

Hopefully , these will be fixed with some subsequent update , and we still cordially urge the plot if you have yet to see it .
