When this one Baldur ’s Gate 3 player on Reddit fought againstGerringothe Thorm , the Toll Collector , they were turned to gold and pick up resistance to all damage types , but somehow these caramel brown became lasting . This thespian explained how three out of the four party member turned to gold and blow up . Their Tav was the last man standing and was able-bodied to end the fight , reviving their party members afterward .
Little did they know that the resistance they gained after being turn to gold would stick with them . The pic they displayed electrical resistance to all damage types , which is an incredible buff to get . It ’s only supposed to last out on you while you ’re Au , but they pull off to glitch the biz .
Even though these buffs stay after many Long Rests , they sadly vanish sometime during Act 3 . The player was not sure exactly when it happened or why , but at least it can last for quite a while .
