For the most part , zombie stories do n’t typically have a very nice conclusion . Somewhere along the way , you ’ll see a lot of death and destruction , and ordinarily they end on a dim note . Dead Island 2is surprisingly gracious in that gumption . The conclusion is n’t all doom and gloominess like you may have ask it to be . But there are still a lot of mess about enquiry by the time the credits roll . So , allow ’s erupt down the end ofDead Island 2and what it could mean for the future .
Escape from Hell-A
At the ending ofDead Island 2 , Sam B , Emma Jaunt , and Patton all get on a helicopter to leave Los Angeles . But the instrumentalist character decides to stay behind to hear to find Tisha who went miss shortly after the Reubenator boss fight . Tisha is a moderately important character to recover since she ’s also the key fruit to making a cure for the Autophage . But as of now , we ’ve get no approximation where she could be .
What constitute matters even more sinister , is the last scene of the game . Once the helicopter look at off , the perspective shift to Konradt , Thurston , and Cadenza on a nearby rooftop . Then Konradt questions why the player character would bide behind . The reason collapse is simply to save Tisha . Konradt then respond back saying “ That the only reason ? ” Since her small radical and the thespian role are both Numen , they have a unequaled perspective on the zombie contagion . And the game ends with the player taking out a swarm of zombies , clearly showing that they have no problems fighting off the septic anymore .
Ultimately , the player fibre has absolutely been changed by the outcome of the game . And their decision to ride out behind in Los Angeles could potentially conduce to dire consequences . But since the Numen and Tisha are the Francis Scott Key to a cure , the ending of the story could also end on a nice note . However , as I mentioned earlier , zombie stories almost always end on a dour note of hand .
What’s next forDead Island 2
As of now , no DLC has been announced forDead Island 2 . There ’s also been no word of any potential sequel in exploitation . But since Dead Island 2 take almost a X to finally arrive , it ’s only fair for Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios to expect and see where thing lie . There ’s clearly a spate of report left to tell , and a big DLC chapter could attach up plenteousness of escaped closing . Dead Island 2‘s ending certainly allow room for more to total , so we ’ll have to await and see what comes next .
