On April 9 , Bungie hold their long - awaited livestream that previewed coming content in The Final Shape . Along with a new subclass called Prismatic and fresh buildcrafting chance , Bungie also revealed a stigma young foeman race that would be entering the Destiny universe … The Dread .

Here ’s everything we know about The Dread and how they ’ll accommodate into The Final Shape when it releases onJune 4 .

The Dread Destiny 2

Who Are “The Dread” In Destiny 2?

During The Final Shape prevue livestream , Bungie break three new types of foe belong to the Dread that all come along to have different abilities , forcing Guardians to adjust . These enemy types are The Grim , The Husk , and Attendant and Weavers .

The Grim

accord to Bungie The Grim are the first foe that you ’ll present in Destiny that can fly . basically , there are oversized bats that carry weapons . They will often whine at players , inhibit their abilities and slowing them down if they are inauspicious enough to be reach .

The Husk

Husks , on the other hand , are melee bruisers with dangerous and powerful blade . These foe typically move in group and can perform acrobatic jumps and moves which may make them problematical if they get too close . fit in to Bungie , “ they hurt … ” .

If players kill Husks in the wrong style , geists from inside the husk can assay out player and explode when in tight proximity .

Attendants and Weavers

These enemies can wield the element of Strand and Stasis and have been reshaped and formulate by Destiny 2 ’s main antagonist , The Witness .

Weavers are able to release a hefty Stand wave that pulls players towards them while concomitant can fire a Stasis blast that slows and freezes player upon impact .

Even though these enemies may vocalise menacing , the introduction of the newPrismatic subclasswill for certain allow players to develop physical body and beat that should be able to take on these fresh foe in Destiny 2 .
