Please do not go into this wacky and silly adventure expecting any sort of scares .

I express joy while playing this game . I mean , Iactually audibly express joy , which is something I have n’t experienced from a picture game in a while . The place setting is an absolute pleasure of a juxtaposition , the fictional character are peculiar and strange , the Gatlians are as nonconcentric as ever , the tale is ridiculous and derisory , and the aboriginal species are … you ’ll see … you ’ll see .
However , it is n’t just the temper that you ’re there for , but also the kill . You skip into High on Knife with Gus , Sweezy , Creature , and Harper . That ’s proper , Harper is the unexampled Kenny , and Kenny ’s absence seizure from the game is joked about and somewhat touched upon , although no comforting reasonableness was produced . High on Knife strike a live up to symmetricalness between good old - fashioned slaughtering and havoc as you blast away groups of opposition and encounter sections of humourous storytelling . Some good puzzler and great mechanic err their way into the gameplay as well , keeping the experience fun .

The DLC carry me about 4 to 5 minute to complete , and I had fun the entire time . Well , aside from one moment in the secret plan , but I ’ll contact on that afterward .
You will revel the story if you ’re expecting nothing too mysterious or rotatory , and are quick for a reposeful and merriment experience . Firstly , Kenny ’s absence from the game is expected but ill have-to doe with upon . The lackluster and vague cause dish up more as a punchline for a later joke than it does as an actual reason . queerly enough , it does fit in with the tone and nature of the plot , and Harper as a replacement is joked about and referenced a few times , which I value , but Kenny was such an integral part of the main game that I feel the poor Gatlian deserved more of a send - off .
to boot , there are a few parts in the late game where the object lens is not clear at all . I spent the good half of an minute urgently trying to figure out how to gain my objective when all I had to do was kill off all the enemies . Upon stick to around and fighting some more , the answer appear in front of me . The game motion for you to “ fight down to the next objective , ” but I assumed that meant I had to reach my objective while come through infinite spawns of foe , not “ kill all foe , thenreach your objective . ” The choice of words there really actuate me up .

Like High on Life , there are collectibles in High on Knife in the form of Muxxalon Packages , which you could slice open . There is enough to keep the DLC interesting after the report is finished , allowing you to spend even more clock time in the game that you love .

It ’s its own ego - turn back story that is really fun and interesting , and you ’ll want to see it conclude . There is more of the merriment action you would ’ve enjoyed from High on Life , with new car-mechanic and toys being added to take it up a notch .
