Get your hands on a secret item and some hidden lore
Secret in a Box is a young side quest found in the Old Sharlyan city zone in Final Fantasy XIV : Endwalker . Like some quests in previous enlargement , this seeking requires you to solve conundrum and puzzle with no specific pedagogy or guidance . However , even after solving the brain-teaser , it can be hard to work out out how to finish this seeking .
The quest start with a Mysterious Woman giving you a complex verse form with a riddle hidden within it . To work the Secret in a Box puzzler , you need to talk to three NPC . These are all marked on the map below .
In the bottom left of Sharlyan is theSleepy Student , at X : 8 , Y : 14 . You ’ll call for to / dozein front of them for them to give you a key .
The next step is to speak to a Nutkin . This particular Nutkin is found at X : 9 , Y : 7 . You ’ll need to use Say chat . The phrase that activates the Nutkin ’s response isgolden acorn . Do n’t use capitals , or it wo n’t exploit . The tiny creature will then transform and give you a key fruit .

Finally , talk to Izumi at the top of the steps near Archon ’s Design at X : 11.5 , Y : 8.5 . There ’s no right or haywire dialogue here . Just fetch up sing to them , and you ’ll get your final Key .
After this , come back to the breast where the pursuit started and open it for some experience , and a level 88 , I - level 545 Chondite Ring Coffer . Not bad lucre for a few riddles ! What ’s more , as an additional reward , you ’ll revel some interesting Modern lore about Thancred . Definitely deserving doing !
