It requires you to go back to the containment closure and search for a computer virus sample with multiple spawn location . You have been here before with the other previous quests , but you have to stay a little foresighted to search for the sample .
It only becomes harder because if you stay in the block for a long time , other PMCs can enter or wait for you outside , even if there is an unending swarm of zombies . You need to come fain so that you do n’t blow your time looking for the samples . Here ’s how to complete the Root Cause task with all the possible computer virus sample spawns in Escape from Tarkov .
How to Complete the Root Cause Task in Escape from Tarkov
To finish the Root Cause task , you must finish the following objectives :
The virus sample distribution has several spawn locations , but luckily , they are also inside the containment mental block in Labs , which you should be all conversant with by now since you have been there double already with this quest line .
You require to bring the same loadout you brought toeliminate the zombies in the Burn It Down job , but you should impart more Zagustins just in case . you may bring an Injector Case and put multiple stims inside it so it only takes up one expansion slot in your stock-taking .

Virus Sample Possible Spawn Locations in The Lab
The virus samples are inside the containment block , so you should instantly go to the data processor elbow room near the exponent switch . Once you are inside the computing equipment room , the spawn can either be to the left of the monitor ( next to the vial case ) or to the right of the monitor lizard ( on top of the desk ) .
If they did n’t breed there , you may check the freezer at the side of the way and attend at the bottom tray . These are all the spawn location inside the computing equipment room .
Next , you want to go to the laboratory way on the left . There is one immense desk in the heart with a circumstances of medical instruments . Look directly to the centre and hunt for the vial . you may jump out on top of the desk if you desire .

The last spawn would be at the last laboratory room at the remnant of the containment pulley-block . Look for the table , which is also in the center of the desk . you may see the sample spawn near the vial container , as see in the image above . If you are playing with friends , the sample should spawn in one surface area for everybody as long as everyone is in the same raid .
