Why ante up when you could get it for free ?
One of the first thing you ’ll get in Starfield is your very own elbow room in the Lodge . And … that ’s nice , right ? It ’s a well - decorated sleeping room with a storage crate and a bed , at least . But if you require to add a little personal flair to your abode , you ’re going to postulate a firm . Here ’s how to get a house in Starfield .
Starfield: How to Buy or Get a House
pay off a house in Starfield is really pretty loose . And , in some cases , low-priced . But it ’s true what they say : you get what you ante up for . Your two options are topurchase a household or make it .
One of the easiest places you could buy a house is onNeon . Neon is a city you ’ll chop-chop play during your main quest or when you ’re completing side quests , and it ’s defined by its harsh juxtaposition of grime and color , the full-bodied and poor . And there are two pick for accommodation here that perfectly represent that .
The first is the Sleepcrate , which can be purchase for a mere 6,500 deferred payment at Ebbside . A Sleepcrate is one of the most affordable accommodation in the game , but it ’s also one of the modest . Because , you venture it , it ’s a crateful with barely enough room for a bottom .

See above my assemblage of stolen plushies in my Neon Penthouse .
or else , you may go for the big money purchase and spend 235,000 on a penthouse suite on top of the Astral Lounge . This is much bigger than the Sleepcrate , but it ’s basically still a living elbow room , a kitchen , and a bathroom . Like a very nice studio .

The second option is to earn it . The easiest and best choice for this is by completing missions in the Untied Colonies faction pursuit . Doing this will grant you citizenship in New Atlantis . Citizenship will permit you to purchase an apartment in The Wells . This is a step up from Neon ’s Sleepcrate . But I advocate saving your credit for now .
That ’s because if you cease the United Colonies ’ quest completely , you ’ll get afreepenthouse . And it is importantly better than the one on Neon . It has two balcony , two bedrooms , an office space , and two bathrooms . It ’s massive , is what I ’m say . And the United Colonies ’ questline is marvelous and very easygoing to complete early on .
Once you get your mansion , you’ll want to decorate it . But decorating it with your corrupt ( or stolen ) goods is n’t needs intuitive . Still , it ’s the best way to inject some of your personality .
