Luckily , we have a few to choose from in Season of Defiance , with one of the most consistent being the alien heavy bow Leviathan ’s Breath . With that say , here ’s how to get the Leviathan ’s Breath Catalyst in Destiny 2 .
How to Get the Leviathan’s Breath Catalyst in Destiny 2
Everyone ’s favorite cycle - chemical chain strapped fore does unbelievable damage to both single - quarry boss and groups of hefty foes alike thanks to its massive and oppress null explosion . The Leviathan ’s Breath Catalyst lessen the bow ’s draw time with precision hits as well as increasing the number of arrows from 10 to 15 . unremarkably , Catalysts are shut up behind random drops at the end of activities like Strikes , but I have a surefire method acting for getting this one in a cinch .
lade up Grasp of Avarice in the Cosmodrome . Don’t worry about finding a Fireteam , we ’re flying unaccompanied for this one .
Locate the two orange health bar Witches . These are our targets – the Leviathan ’s Breath Catalyst neglect from powerful foeman , and these two fit the bill . Blast aside until they ’re both down . Do n’t worry if you do n’t get it right away , they respawn after a short clip .

If needed , refill on hard ammo in the loot cave . The loot cave is located just under where the two Witches spawn . If you do n’t get a Catalyst drop before running out of ammunition , just kill some slavery with a Heavy Ammo Finder mod and get some more !
And that ’s it ! It took me about ten second , or six enchantress , to get a Catalyst drop . Here ’s hoping your speculation select even less time .

As far as leveling the Catalyst , I ’d commend heading into Xur ’s Dares of Eternity and getting the Heavy Ammo regeneration buff from the obstruction course of action after the first event . This ensures lots of putting to death , and therefore lots of Catalyst progress .
If you ’re still missing Leviathan ’s Breath , be sure to grab an Exotic Cypher either from Xur or the Season Pass , then maneuver to the Monument of Lost Light in the Tower to bribe it .
