Why does n’t the Menu Button just pause the plot ?

When I first started Granblue Fantasy : Relink , I was getting extremely spoil by the unfitness to pause during longer cutscenes . However , I discovered that there was a path to do so , just not in the normal fashion I could in other game .

While your general inherent aptitude may tell you to hit the Menu Button on your controller , you ’ll want to hit the PS push to convey up the Home Menu or Menu Bar , reckon on if you ’re dally on PlayStation 4 or 5 . When you return to the game , you ’ll find that the cutscene has been pause , rather than just giving you the option to skip the current movie that you ’re in . While cumbersome , it works , and will permit you to get up and stretch or do whatever require to be done at that exact bit .

What the game does n’t tell you either , is if you go to Skip a cutscene , it will officiate the same room — it will pause the game , give a sum-up of approaching events , and allow you to either Skip the cutscene or invalidate and finish watching it . I was always afraid of hit the Skip release as I did n’t want to miss any of the cutscenes that were play out , so love that it double up as a break clitoris is very handy .

I was stupefy when I tried to intermit , and it kept give me the pick to skip . While I wish there were just a general option to pause a cutscene by pressing a button — maybe something the developers at Cygames Inc. could add in a future fleck — this will at least work for the metre being . It also sum up what ’s been chance up to that point , so even if you have to step off for an extended period , you ’ll always have a go at it what ’s happening before you start up again .
