For the first time in this title , players can jump into some stigma new subject with the God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC . The roguelite experience allows everyone to take on some fresh challenges as Kratos , and in this guide , I ’ll help you get started on the journey to Valhalla .
How to Play the God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC
To start the God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC , select the “ Valhalla ” option under the New Game section of the primary menu . Before trying to start , you need to download the new content from the PlayStation Store , which is almost 8 GB for both the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 4 . Selecting Valhalla without the download will bring you directly to the store page .
With the download and the December 12 update all set , it ’s time to jump into Kratos ’ next combat adventure . Because this DLC serve as a removed Epilogue , you do n’t need to worry about have a late save ready . As much as I require to see all of my one-time progress with my human body , it ’s not necessary in a roguelite .
Whenever you embark on the Valhalla DLC in God of War Ragnarok , Kratos will arrive with minimal armor and weapons to help him out . In your first run , you will basically have nothing . Playing through different levels that more and more get tough will reward you with gear to take on more enemies . But if you die , most of that is lost , and you start again .
How to Start God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC:
This is a rapscallion - lite , though , so that mean some permanent upgrade advance can be made after each running . Just remember that the progress is geared toward the Kratos in Valhalla and not the Kratos from your principal save . This is all just a disjoined mode you’re able to do for playfulness to test your combat skills .
