Hogwarts Legacyguide – How to win Crossed Wands duels
Crossed Wands duels inHogwarts Legacyare unlocked during your first solar day as a scholar . fundamentally , once you ’ve acquiredAccioandLevioso , you ’ll get a sidequest where you have to talk to Lucan Brattleby . If you plan on heading to his localization , you ’ll find him in the Clock Tower area next to a fast travel point ( verify you ’re tracking the sidequest ) .
The minigame has three round , each becoming progressively tough than the last . Your goal , jolly much , is to outlast your opposition and defeat them . gratefully , a crony will join you ( i.e. , either Natsai from Gryffindor or Sebastian from Slytherin ) .
Note : You may also talk to Lucan to start a practice fight against a training dummy . This allow you to test combos and gentle wind juggles with various go .

Whether you ’re fighting a couple of enemies , or even four , triumph in Crossed Wands inHogwarts Legacyis all about your reflexes . With all the spells flying around , you ’ll want to find out out for yellowish icons that pop up on your eccentric . These symbolize an incoming attack , which means you ’ll need to barricade and counter withProtego and Stupefy . The stun that ’s due to Stupefy is quite hefty , since it also removes a character ’s shield . similarly , if ever you do get mauled by turn , attempt to start your potion to heal . Also , if you get lift by Levioso , you ’ll need to press the correct clit prompt to land safely .
Speaking of shields , as you further further in the primary quest , you ’ll partake in harder bouts . Since these coincide with spell unlocks , you ’ll detect that your opposition will have different elementary shields . Your charming spells are also color - razz ( i.e. , Accio is purple , Levioso is yellow , and Incendio is red ) . That means you ’ll cycle among various while to ensure that enemy defensive structure are break out . Moreover , if two hostiles with the same shield are close to each other , the AoE impact will take out both their barriers .
