Another week , another OTA proportion patch ! In addition to 4 new lineup updates , we have some location relative frequency updates this week ! rent ’s get right-hand into it :
Drax Buff? Nerf? Change?
[ Old]4/5 – On Reveal : If your opponent bet a scorecard here this turn , +3 Power .
[ New]4/6 – On Reveal : If your opposite play a carte here this act , +2 Power .
The Guardians can create some of the most exciting gameplay in SNAP with their predictive playstyle . While they ’ve been doing well with the sacking of Nebula , they ’re still performing poorly overall at the present moment . Out of all the Guardians , Drax stood out to us as the clearest buff candidate . Compared to other cards like Rockslide and White Queen with good stats and a guaranteed upside , Drax had below medium stats for a very inconsistent upper side . We ’re pass on him a little buff by moving some of his office from his ability to his base stats to improve his baseline performance .
Drax is , I consider , still 4/8 if you play it right . However , now they reduced some of the risks of play Drax in the Location where your adversary has n’t toy anything . But , on the other side , some On Reveal duplicate effects will have less effect on Drax properly now . This lead me to believe that this is a slight devotee in the majority of the cases where you pretermit the card .
Rockslide Nerf in Marvel Snap
[ Old]4/6 – On Reveal : Shuffle 2 rock into your opposite ’s deck .
[ New]4/5 – On Reveal : Shuffle 2 stone into your opposer ’s deck .
Rockslide ’s viability took a bound forward with the spillage of Darkhawk and Zabu , so it ’s easy to look at this nerf and assume that we ’re place Darkhawk by weakening one of his support wag . And sure , you ’d be ripe – Darkhawk has been one of the 10 winningest cards in the secret plan since release and featured in multiple strong decks . In fact , Rockslide often mirrors ( or improves upon ) Darkhawk ’s stats , as they ’re both in the top - perform “ DinoHawk ” deck . Since Rockslide ’s well-situated to adjust , we ’re making this pinch with the aim of weakening that deck of cards more or less .

Good affair I used that deck to get to Infinite last season . It ’s a well - deserved nerf . There ’s no other way to nerf Darkhawk , really . Bumping its cost to 5 would n’t serve at all . Enchantress Nerf in Marvel Snap
[ Old]4/6 – On Reveal : move out the abilities from all on-going card at this location .
[ New]4/5 – On Reveal : Remove the abilities from all on-going poster at this placement .
Enchantress has grown in popularity since our buff to her two weeks ago , which was expect . While we ’re excited by how much more she ’s affecting the meta , she ’s become one of the most played cards in the biz , which is a bit over a mark . We ’re affirmative that a small nerf to 4/5 will put her in a just position going forward . But hey , it was fun while it survive !
Yup , they did overextend this buff . 4/5 Should be very fairish . And no , it was not fun while it lasted , Second Dinner .
Venom Nerf (Trust me, it’s a Nerf) in Marvel Snap
[ Old]3/1 – On Reveal : Destroy your other cards at this location . Add their exponent to this card .
[ New]3/3 – On Reveal : put down your other cards at this location . Add their Power to this card .
Venom has been the worst destroy enabler for a while now , averaging lower Power in destroy deck than his peers Deathlock and Carnage . While he ’s seen periphery usage in decks with Taskmaster , we have n’t seen any of them really take off . We ’d wish to give one of Marvel ’s most iconic anti - heroes blank space to shine , so we ’re feeding him a hearty +2 Power buff .
So guess work a Mr. Negative deck , and getting a 1 - Cost Venom to exculpate one of your Locations , 0 - toll Knull , and then a 0 - monetary value Arnim Zola to duplicate this Knull . If you ’re running a chance Destroy / Deadpool / Deathwavedeck then yes , this is a yellowish brown , but in general , they did away with an mad combo potentiality that ’s not goodish for the game .
Bonus OTA : Location , Location , Location
As our library of locations increases , we ’ll be make ongoing adjustments to hit the sweet spot we wish for dynamic secret plan .
