This hebdomad , Marvel Snap developers ( Second Dinner ) have cede buffs only . It is now a tradition of Second Dinner to deliver change to the meta every week , to preemptively stop the meta from being stale . sustain a impudent meta is always a beneficial thing in card game .
As we ’re mould on this update , the MARVEL SNAP metagame has a good amount of variety and players experiment with new strategy , so we wo n’t be sway the boat too much . Orka Buff in Marvel Snap (May 4th 2023)

This is n’t very complicated – Orka free broken , systematically one of our least - played add-in and debile on winrate . He ’s peculiarly vulnerable to “ splash ” damage in a metagame where being able to counter Galactus has a higher priority for players , so the solve should clearly involve raising his floor , a design terminal figure for the card ’s weakest outcome . Just buffing his base Power also keep his on-going symmetrical with Namor ’s , further focusing on their shady feud . We do n’t ask to see Orka suddenly start tearing up the militant ranks , but it ’s costless for us to make him stronger .
This is really pretty darn keen ! Almost nobody played Orka due to its limitation and helplessness ( just 2 Power more than Hulk ) but now , even without the Power cost increase , it can perhaps tilt the scale on Turn 6 . 6/16 is not a joke , if you have a deck that can entrust to two Locations only and then sneak in a surprisal approach .

The Collector Buff in Marvel Snap (May 4th 2023)

Those of us who were playing in the genus Beta no dubiousness retrieve the glory days of The Collector , and the nerf that was merited then brought him in telephone line as an on - curve gaming in some Discard and Devil Dinosaur deck . However , he ’s been largely pressure out of those archetypes since , without finding a new home . Hopefully he ’ll be a mo more competitive with other 2 - Cost cards at this rate , and set forth earn those slots back or showing up in new decks , like Bounce .

Luke Cage Buff in Marvel Snap (May 4th 2023)

The two most popular deck with Luke are middling performing artist on the numbers , and the surge in Super Skrull plus the buff to Enchantress have both indirectly break him . We actually consider testing 3 Power briefly , but recalled how the Hazmat buff to 2 Power months ago killed a delightful Cerebro-1 deck of cards . This variety thus restore that combo as an interesting option for Cerebro-2 , since Luke protects that deck from a smattering of meddlesome locations as well . The add Power make Luke more practicable as a “ tech ” calling card in other deck , which might come in handy if afflict strategy hit a new senior high school in the near futurity .
Of course , nowHazmat and Luke Cageare reunify within aCerebro2 deck . Looks good to me . People will spam Luke a lot more now because it ’s not a big permissive waste to have it sit there from Turn 2 , and that might run to more Typhoid Mary , more Enchantress , etc . It ’s bound to add together some diversity to the meta , which is absolutely smashing I think !
