It ’s no enigma that Remnant is one of my preferred games of the year so far . The endless array of secret , unique boss fights , and customization have truly made this shooter stand out from the crowd . But that ’s not say it ’s not without its bugs . And as of August 4 , we finally have Remnant 2 ’s patch notes .

Remnant 2 August 4 Update: Full Patch Notes Listed

Honestly , these are probably the best patch notes we could have hoped for . The Scrap economy consequence has been drastically amend . And a mass of Archetypes and arm have receive a pretty big buff . The only matter I ’m sad to see parting is the Severed Hand glitch , which previously allowed playered to get infinite scrap . Let ’s dive in good order into it .

– Performance and Crashes –

• Initial optimization to meliorate overall performance .

Boss Modifiers Remnant 2

• update to improve hitching and potential crashes .

• sterilise multiple reported crash bugs .

• gamey detail phantom have been affect to a freestanding choice and can be enable in the choice on PC .

– Quality of Life –

QOL OVERVIEW : While we still have quite a few things we are work on regarding Traits and longsighted - terminus grinding ( for those that wish to partake ) , we wanted to make a few changes in this darn to ensure players had more freedom to try out . Players should find it much easier to Respec and they should also end up with more combat overall . We are n’t done here by any means , and these are not the larger change we ’ve mentioned on Discord and Reddit , but in the inadequate full term , they should help to ease the burden of reconfiguring your physique and experiment with different options .

DEV NOTE : This will not retroactively reward ones that should have been antecedently unlock . In future plot of ground we will attend into attempting to retroactively present as many as we can , however some will likely not be able to be present this room and will need to be reacquired .

DEV promissory note : Unfortunately , difficultness - base rewards will not be retroactively awarded for previous completions of the game .

One thing I ’m fairly happy they did n’t nerf is the Engineer archetype . While the Engineer might not have the best legal injury output , it ’s the only stratum where you could become dark unobtainable without wearing a undivided yarn of armor . For end game , this unobtainable Engineer habitus is plausibly the respectable there is .
