Pop Quiz : What massacred more players ? The Hero Pass update or the Falador Massacre of 2006 ?
The reception to RuneScape ’s latest update Hero Pass has been overpoweringly negative . All over social media , players have been sharing their right-down disdain for the update which they have found to have been vastly wangle from what was originally announced . Instead of a nonchalant way to participate in all orbit of the game , it is a ‘ FOMO ’ inducing update that seems predatory with its modified - time rewards . These rewards were meant to be gettable in the future , and it has since been announced that that may not be the slip . This means that many actor will experience like they need to pay off tangible money so that players do not miss out .
This repercussion was so big that today the Executive Producer , Mod Keeper released a statement today regarding the feedback from players .
