Squirrel With A Gun is exactly what it sounds like — you flirt as a Squirrel with a gun , much in the vein of games like Goat Simulator , where the world is your resort area . It ’s one of those game that I ’ve been keeping my center on for quite some time , but with a release date finally being cod for Fall 2024 , I think it ’s time to start clear out my backlog so I can consecrate as much time and vitality as I necessitate to for what could end up being my Game of the Year .
I ’m a big lover of these cockamamie games , as well as Indie darlings that would never be released under the watchful eye of a big publisher . Pizza Tower , for representative , has easily overtaken some of the heavy AAA games of all time in my eye and has become one of my all - metre ducky , much like Squirrel with a Gun has the potency to do . I ’m all for secret plan that are willing to take us down a branching path of storytelling and mystery , but sometimes I just desire to boast stuff up as a gnawer with a rifle — I mean , Squirrel with a Gun .
Multiple artillery case , fetch up moves , and even customization are available , so no two squirrels will be alike . It looks like a meme post descend to liveliness , and I ’m living for it by every fibre of my being . Part of me is worried that it may just be a shallow plot overall , but I know late down in my heart that I ’ll fuck every second I spend in this existence . What else could I go for for beyond what its claim brings to the tabular array , though ?
Part of me is hoping that there is a striking overarching tale that take in our Squirrel friend through the deepest oceanic abyss of meter and space on a multi - universal adventure to excuse how they garnered the skills to wield such a weapon . Another part of me hopes that the Squirrel just found a handgun somewhere and figured that it was time to deliver some Vengence like a straight - to - VHS activity movie from the early 90s . Another part of me is completely fine with the idea of it just being a secret plan where there is no account — you ’re just John Wick of the rodent creation , and it ’s clock time to have some fun .
