It ’s always the side content that shines in BGS games !
For as long as I can remember , Bethesda Game Studios ’ many purpose - playing game surpass when it come in to side quests and emergent gameplay . For the most part , the main story quests were okay . They are not the best , but not the worst . However , side content is where their writing team skin through . And hey , Starfield is no different . The numerous side quests in Starfield prove memorable and exciting adventures found off the beaten path . Here are the five ripe side quest in Starfield that you belike missed on your first playthrough .
The Best Side Quests in Starfield
Starfield is exceptional at put up you with beguilement . I go into my first playthrough expect to fill in the primary story and then research side capacity in a 2nd run . But that ’s not how things worked out . Instead , I constantly cut aside from the chief story questline to complete side pursuance randomly . These side quest in Starfield captured my attention and held me miserly .
Groundpounder
This is one of the first side quests I tackled in Starfield so I may be jolly bias , but I think it ’s one of the most entertaining .
Upon jump into the Altair Star System , you will receive a distress call from a fair sex trapped inside a research facility . A grouping of Spacers attacked the station , and both UC Vanguard and Freestar Collective respond to the interlocking . Unfortunately , Spacers have the upper manus . They have a base in the system and can hold workforce into the ruffle .
You must fight through the post , rescuing trap civilians and soldiers along the way , before parachute into space to push the Spacers back once and for all . It is the pure side quest for those who enjoy the gunplay in Starfield .

At the conclusion of the whole engagement , you ’ll walk away withPeacekeeper . It ’s one of my best-loved unique weapon system in Starfield !
The Mantis
comparatively ahead of time in your playthrough , especially if you ’re following the main story , you ’ll collect the Secret Outpost datapad . It includes coordinates to a closelipped position with a tucked - away sand trap . But upon arrival , you ’ll find oneself Spacers tucker out you to the punch , and alongside a slew of robots and turrets , you need to struggle through human enemies , too .
But the reward is well worth the problem . You must work through the donjon , clear each room and corridor , thencomplete a teaser . For your hard employment , you ’ll invite a legendary set of armour and an A - class ship completely free . The ship , Razorleaf , is muscular and valuable . First and foremost , it ’s feared amongst Spacers , and secondly , it boast a Shielded Cargo Hold forcontraband smuggling .
Operation Starseed
While traversing the various virtuoso systems in Starfield , you will inevitably forgather a all-inclusive cast of character . Some prove more eclectic than others . But did you ever think you ’d meet the greatGenghis KhanorAmelia Earheart ?
DuringOperation Starseed , a unique side quest that involves a commune of clone stemming from noted the great unwashed throughout human history , you will interact with fictional character contend for ascendance over the liquidation and the nearby Facility . The entire dungeon is infested with hostile brute , and you ’ll require to fight down through them to collect selective information . Then , it ’s up to you which faction flourish using tell data .
It ’s a lengthy and challenging quest but an interesting one . at last , it ’s entirely up to you who takes command over The Facility and the residential district as a whole , and with three option to pick out from , it ’s a bit of a gamble . But hey , replayability potential difference .
