There were many times where , while on a mission to nail an object glass , I found myself taking a quick ( and then not - so - quick ! ) pitstop to just stare up at the sphere above . It was a really calming experience for me , and helped to break up some of the tenseness that the plot line was build up , if only for a minute .
A plot that keeps you guessing
There are so many unlike twists and change by reversal throughout the storyline of The Invincible that you ’ll feel your head hurting and peradventure even become a shade featherbrained — but that ’s credibly just your oxygen levels getting a little low-toned . You should really hold in on that . Now , I do n’t want to reveal too much , but as you unveil more of the story with the help of your steady Astrogator ( who is the skipper of your mission ) , your objectives and priority will shift and then shift again . In the desktop of it all , the latent hostility begins to rise as your answers just head to more questions and you find yourself reveal more and more mysteries as you progress .
This could be a frustrative environs for some people who do n’t wish to wait and uncover secrets over fourth dimension , but I really found it enthralling . The suspense and constant wondering of what was going to happen next were two of the main reasons that I get hold myself unable to charge my eyes away from The Invincible . I will say that there were multiplication I felt the plot leave a couple of things open - ended or did not purpose them as definitively as I would have liked , but for the majority of mysteries introduced , you will receive fulfill solution as you play on .

Still , I kept feel like I was being look on , and the music play in the background signal did nothing but serve enhance the atmosphere and make my immersion into the domain of Regis III more utter than it always was .
One of my absolute favorite parts of the game ( without scotch anything ) had to be towards the first part of the mission , when you are heading back to the base encampment to reconnect with your squad and find out what happened during your memory blackout . You ’re all alone with only your own wits to get you there , and the whole clock time you have no idea what happens — but you get the sense that there ’s something haywire , especially with the abbreviated flashbacks that are interspersed throughout your journeying .

Difficulty completing some objectives
I do n’t mean to toot my own horn or anything , but I ’d say that if you ’re talking about the dissimilar types of gamers , I am definitely closer to harbour the status of an expert than that of a beginner . However , there were a number of time where I get hold myself befuddled about where to go next , particularly when the objectives involved find items or surveil the correct path to lead off the next point of a delegacy . Sure , part of that poor sense of direction was definitely due to my slack - gossip face as I experienced the unbelievable graphics of The Incredible , but there were also certainly some other factors involved .
One matter I would have liked to see in the secret plan is an optional ‘ Hint ’ feature which could help conduct the participant to the next aim ( should they choose to pick out it ) and would be toggleable so that those who did n’t want to apply hints would n’t have to even see the option . This would have help me , as even from the very first valley that Yasna finds herself in , I was a trivial confused on how to leave the position . I in reality walk towards the exit , but I had to go another itinerary to get there and the game told me ( through Yasna ’s self - monologue ) that I ’d found the expiration , but could n’t access it from my position . plainly , Yasna missed the climb session in astronaut school .

Although I will die on the hill that the visuals ofThe Invincibleare — literally — out of this world , and squander me out to Regis III ’s star system of rules , there were some takings with the fine details of things that I feel could have been ironed out quite easily . My biggest mesmerism , had I been a developer , would have been to make the NPCs in this game , such as your fellow crewmates and stalwart Astrogator , more lifelike . Their trend often seem a niggling jerky and affected , especially in the flashback scenes that Yasna experiences as her memories of the upshot instantly premise the start of the secret plan begin to retort .
It is quite unmanageable to talk more about my other issue with the NPCs without revealing too much regarding the game , but I wish there had been more character growth between Yasna and her fellow crewmates before she arrives at the base ingroup , so that we could see who they are and begin to develop attachments to some of them before we actually get to receive them . More flashback scene such as ones that explore the life of the crew as they traveled through space would have been most welcome in my opinion .
The verdict
All in all , this game is a self-colored philosophic take on man and our right hand to explore the cosmos ( and our own reality ) , smartly enclose up into a suspenseful and intriguing dangerous undertaking surrounding a plucky and openhearted admirer . The graphics are to die for , and even though the inside information of NPCs can get a little cloudy when you take care too tight , the stellar views and beautiful landscape gardening in the game are sure to blow your judgement , just as they did mine . It ’s not too often that a first - soul game come around that bid you views like this one , and I ca n’t aid but say that I am a small jealous Yasna draw to feel the loftiness of Regis III firsthand ! Unfortunately , we will have to solace ourselves with the second - script experience , but it ’s certainly deserving it . I simply ca n’t recommend this title enough to gamers like me who love a suspense - filled adventure game set in an original sci - fi setting !
