So , I ’m at employment , and I decided to check my emails , and one from The Pokemon Company pops up entitle “ Supersweet Plush . ” I have never click so fast because I ’m a sucker for a cunning plush , but instead , I ’m met with something out of a revulsion moving picture ; in earnest , these raw Pokemon plush are … interesting .
There are four plush in the “ Sweet Support Plush ” wrinkle that dropped onto The Pokemon Company ’s US website this morning , which feature Pokemon and their baby Pokemon version : Azurill and Marill , Igglybuff and Jigglypuff , Bonsly and Sudowoodo , and Pichu and Pikachu . go cunning , right ? I thought so , too , until I look nigher .
The grownup Pokemon and their baby are connected together with what appear to be a twine of flexible from their belly buttons . That ’s right – literalumbilical cords . This was n’t The Pokemon Company ’s design , but it ’s hard not to view it as anything but . And that ’s not all , either … Take a look at the baby Pokemon ’s boldness .
Every babe Pokemon is crying , while the adult Pokemon are beaming with happiness . There ’s just something so implausibly creepy-crawly about this , and I ’m satiate with a million interrogative . Why are the baby Pokemon shout ? Why are they attached with an umbilical corduroy ? I may have watched one too many scary picture , but I do n’t like thinking about the answers .
The Pokemon Company ’s intention is in reality really sweet – it ’s so you may move the crying baby Pokemon to its parent so they can bosom and comfort it . And the pliable is potential to keep them together so that you do n’t suffer them . But I ca n’t help but feel like they should have put the elastic literallyanywhereelse .
