Ubisoft is back at it again with another Prince of Persia game on the way . The publisher alongside Dead Cells developer , Evil Empire , announced their coming game title The Rogue Prince of Persia last workweek , arriving on Steam in former access this May 14 , 2024 .
The Rogue Prince of Persia is a 2D roguelite action - platformer and the latest installment in the Prince of Persia series , follow thewide success of Prince of Persia : The Lost Crown . In this new endeavor , thespian will embark on a courageous journey battle the Huns after a withering invasion of Persia . And it ’s up to the titulary Prince of Persia — whom player shall trifle as — to save it from the black shamanic trick and blood - thirsty warriors that pillage and defile the great nation .
Players will search a “ vibrant reinterpretation of Persia ” while trying to liberate it . Along the way , players can find items , new areas , and weapons to practice in battle against enemies and bosses , which offer a myriad of ways to enjoy the game . With each dying , the plot will reset and unlock newfangled secrets and paths for the player to search , further pushing the adventure and discovery onwards .
