Goodbye dumber , modest Groot
The Gaia Operator has been one of the most annoying cosmetics in MW3 since the game launched and players have been vocal about their aversion for it . Sledgehammer Games commented on the pelt shortly after launch , but does the skin still remain in the biz ?
Was the Groot Skin Disabled in MW3?
The short answer is yes , the Gaia Operator cutis has been incapacitate until further notice in Modern Warfare 3 . Starting on November 30 , you wo n’t be able to equip the pelt or even preview it when you check out your wheeler dealer . I checked the Nova Operator from MW2 myself and there was no Groot cutis to be found .
If you already had the skin equipped before the update went live , there is a chance you may keep using it . After I determine to see that Gaia really was disabled , I tested the Modern Rustment play list . In that peer I saw two dissimilar Gaia skins , so the odds are that they already had it trigger and now ca n’t take it off if they desire to keep using it . There ’s also a good luck that Sledgehammer wipes that workaround though .
Now this does n’t mean that the skin is gone for good . After all , the Gaia Operator skin was part of the Battle Pass and even had a Black Cell variant . Players already pay and that means the skin ca n’t be erase , unluckily . But Sledgehammer has already say that they will contribute the peel back to MW3 when changes can be made to the appearance .

As for a timeframe , we do n’t really have one at all . Anyone who is rub to reckon like Groot again will have to await for an update . Because it ’s so wide hated , I would n’t be surprised if Sledgehammer slowed the pace on a fix .
While Groot is gone , you may always go for theBone Collector Operator skinas a replacement in MW3 .
