I just want to spend money …
I do it this will come off as whiny , and maybe it is a little , but I ’m really disappointed with the Fortnite Item Shop latterly compared to how it used to be . Gone are the days of waiting thirstily for the daily reset to see what ’s new ; now , it ’s almost not worth looking at . It ’s more of an “ IguessI’ll curb if they add anything near today . ”
To be fairish to Epic Games , they do brush up the contentedness middling regularly . But the lineament of said content has really dip in the last year , with a lot of the same emotes and hide being cycled through over and over . For example , the Invincible collaborationism has been in the Fortnite Item Shop six time this twelvemonth already , and The Weeknd skin appeared for 73 Day straight , only just leave the Shop days ago .
This may not seem like much to complain about , but it ’s gone downhill when you look at the Fortnite Item Shop now compared to anterior age . I personally love Fortnite Festival and go feral whenever a Modern song I like is added . But the point is that real the three estates has been take up up for good cosmetics and emotes rather than being implementedalongsidethem . Why ca n’t we have both ?

I will give quotation where credit ’s due here : Epic Games does a lot to ensure Fortnite ’s Battle Pass rewards are fantastical , not to refer the extra cosmetics you could earn from seeking rewards and incentive content , such as Solid Snake from Metal Gear in Chapter 5 time of year 1 and the upcoming The Legend of Korra coaction in Chapter 5 time of year 2 . They give you something to look forrad to each Season , unlike the everyday refresh of the Item Shop .
It just dumbfound me how Epic Games seems not to desire money . I ’m so down to spend V - buck on good cosmetics , which I ’ve rarely been able to do in late month . If you front on social sensitive whenever the daily refresh encounter , you ’ll see this sentiment echoed often around the residential area . A community is seldom willing to spend money on microtransactions ( justlook at the late Dragon ’s Dogma 2 MTX preaching ) , so Epic should realize how favourable it is to have a player base that ’s willing to give them money so effortlessly ; if only they ’d give us better manner to expend it .
