Regardless of the season , confusion and bugs are always expected with a reinvigorated update in Call of Duty and the same applies to Modern Warfare 2 . With the launch of Season 3 , many players are running into problem withRanked Play , whether it ’s the membership themselves or bump the mood entirely .
When you open up up the Multiplayer menu for COD MW2 in the previous season , the competitive play list was always available to find in the featured or standard playlist . However , it seems to have disappeared altogether and we ’ll cover that in our template .
Treyarch has release an update on Twitter say that Ranked caper will be disabled for the time being until Season 02 – time of year 3 transition exit are resolve . Updated 2:26 atomic number 61 ET on April 12 , 2023 .

COD MW2 Season 3 – Why is Ranked Play Gone?
The disappearance of Ranked drama in the Modern Warfare 2 menu does n’t seem like an intentional addition to the latest time of year . Based on the dapple notes , there was no mention of the removal of the fashion for any reason , and some players are already pop out a novel grind . We may just have to waitress for a hotfix .
That does n’t change the issues though . Infinity Ward also has a Trello Board where they detail issues with the game and there is a know outlet with Ranked Division visuals in Season 3 , but still no quotation of Ranked Play vanish in COD MW2 . Infinity Ward run to tweet out that they are aware of prevalent issue in the game , specially at launching . Their Twitter has also been tacit though . There are plenty of new reward to clear in Season 3 of Ranked frolic , so let ’s hope players can get started on that soon . In the lag , all we can do is cover restart the game in the hopes that a hotfix was implemented .
