Bethesda ’s space epic gets pot of praise , but some have such a fiery hatred for it , you ’d think they were John Wick and the secret plan just kill their click . Why is there so muchStarfieldhate ? permit ’s talk about it .
“Hate”/Criticism
allow me start with one I think we can all consort on . Starfieldisn’t a arrant game . It has problems that have existed in Bethesda plot constantly , and many thespian report technical issues . That said , people can take criticisms very personally , specially about a secret plan they ’ve been looking forrader to .
Sometimes , there ’s a fine business line between criticism and hate . I lovePokemon Scarlet and Violet , but am I “ hating ” on it for say the functioning is miserable ? It ’s too vulgar to see true literary criticism disregard as “ hatred ” followed by a reason that does n’t make much sensation .

As both titles are RPGs , it ’s unsurprising thatStarfieldgets compare toBaldur ’s Gate 3 . Still , some struggle with the idea that one soul may love the melodic theme of high phantasy and might think infinite is dull , and vice versa . Also , at the time of penning , Baldur ’s Gate 3isn’t on Xbox consoles , which ties in nicely to my next stage .

We could write a Bible on this one , but in short , many people are tempestuous thatStarfieldisn’t on PlayStation . It ’s as bare as that . As we ’re PC Invasion , we like to think we ’re above that ( it ’s a joke , relax ) , but console fanboyism is a real affair , and some take it right smart too far .
This odd loyalty gamers have to their respective charge plate box has been going on for as long as gaming has existed . We have Xbox vs. PlayStation right now . We had Sega vs. Nintendo in the ’ 90s . “ Sega does what NintenDon’t ” was a real matter .
Xbox is n’t the bugbear of the play world for makingStarfieldexclusive . Gamers have short memories . Even last - gen , you could n’t playStreet Fighter Vif you only had an Xbox . InStarfield‘s case , it ’s hard not to think that some hate comes from PlayStation die - hards who are disturbed they ca n’t playact a fairly good game . If you find attacked , do n’t worry . So why isStarfieldgetting so much hate ? It ’s a compounding of everything above , from silent cabinet wars to valid unfavorable judgment being labeled as hate . finally , everyone has their own opinion .
